Scar Camouflage

At Medikemos, we offer scar camouflage through tricopigmentation.

This treatment helps conceal scars resulting from hair transplantation procedures (FUE or FUT) as well as scars caused by accidental trauma or injury.

This technique is recommended for:

  • Patients who have undergone an FUE or FUT hair transplant.
  • Patients with scars resulting from trauma or accidental injury.

The number of sessions required depends on the individual needs of each patient.

Treatment Protocol

A treatment plan of either 3 (2+1) or 2 (1+1) sessions is generally recommended:

  • 2 sessions performed on 2 consecutive days
  • A third session approximately 1 month later

Our Protocol

  • Pigment Retention Test (if required)
For certain complex scars, a small test area may be treated to assess how the scar tissue responds to the pigment.
  • Camouflage Sessions
In most cases, 2 to 3 sessions are required to gradually layer the pigments and achieve a natural looking result that significantly reduces the visibility of the scar.

Important Recommendation

Tricopigmentation does not remove the texture or relief of a scar. However, it can make the scar significantly less noticeable by blending it with the surrounding scalp.

Maintenance sessions once or twice a year may be recommended to preserve optimal results.
